Ireland Prep Update: Passport

I finally got my passport! For any of you procrastinating on getting one, you’ll be pleased to know that it only took around a month (if even that long) from the time I turned in the forms and payment to when I received it in the mail. Probably a week or so after that I got my birth certificate back in the mail separately. No complaints here! Now onto a question…

Currency exchange. My cousin and I were discussing how/when/where to change our U.S. Dollars into Euros. We may be visiting Northern Ireland and in need of Pounds as well, but that’s a concern for when that becomes set in stone. Does anyone have suggestions as to the best time/place to make this exchange? I’ve heard to just go to any bank, I’ve heard to wait until we arrive in Ireland to get the best exchange rates…does anyone have any experience with this that they’d like to share? It would be much appreciated. 🙂

  1. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest
twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe
you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your
blog and I look forward to your new updates.

  2. It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d definitely donate to this excellent blog!
I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account.

I look forward to brand new updates and will share this blog with my Facebook group.
